opentalkmeAbout opentalkme
Connecting the world through anonymous, fast, and safe random video and text chats.
Our Mission
We built opentalkme because talking to random people online shouldn't be so complicated. Most chat apps either lock you behind a paywall, force you to download sketchy software, or make you sign up for an account you don't actually want. Our goal is simple: give you a clean, fast web app where you can just click a button and instantly have a conversation.
Why We Started
When the original random chat sites like Omegle shut down, everyone tried to build a replacement. But almost all of them were buggy, slow, or filled with spam bots. We knew we could do better. We built opentalkme to be the platform we actually wanted to use ourselves—running smoothly on mobile browsers with sharp video feeds and none of the usual junk.
Commitment to Safety
Let's be honest, anonymous chat rooms can get weird. We want to keep the weirdness fun and completely filter out the toxic stuff. Instead of relying purely on a team of humans clicking 'ban', we use automated background filters that immediately drop people who break the rules. You shouldn't have to skip past a dozen inappropriate streams just to find a normal conversation.
