  • Moderation Snapshots: Opentalkme uses automated safety systems to scan video feeds for explicit content. Sampled frames and user-submitted reports are temporarily retained solely for moderation and compliance purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Sub-Processors

We do not sell your data. We use a limited number of trusted service providers to operate Opentalkme:

  • Cloudflare: For DDoS protection, CDN services, and DNS resolution.
  • DigitalOcean: For hosting our matching backend and signaling servers.
  • Grafana Cloud: For aggregating server operational telemetry and error logs.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and local storage exclusively for essential operational and security purposes.

  • Guest ID & Ban State: We store a temporary identifier in your browser's local storage to track active sessions and enforce ban states to prevent abuse.
  • Settings: We may store your theme preferences (e.g., dark mode) locally on your device.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies across other websites.

6. Minors

Opentalkme is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a minor has accessed the platform, we will immediately block access and remove associated session records. Suspected cases of child exploitation are reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
