Child Safety Standards
Opentalkme is strictly for adults (18+). We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any exploitation of minors. We actively employ technology and strict moderation policies to keep minors off our platform.
1. Age Verification and Access
Opentalkme requires all users to be at least 18 years old.
- Guests must confirm their age before accessing the platform.
- Any user determined or suspected to be under 18 is immediately blocked from the platform.
2. Automated Detection and Moderation
Opentalkme utilizes automated safety systems alongside human moderation to identify and remove prohibited content and underage users.
- Video streams are periodically sampled and analyzed by automated systems to detect policy violations, including suspected minors or CSAM.
- Flags generated by our automated systems or user reports are prioritized and reviewed by our moderation team.
- Confirmed violations result in immediate, permanent network and device-level bans.
3. NCMEC Reporting
Opentalkme fully complies with legal obligations regarding child safety.
- If we detect any material or activity indicating the exploitation or abuse of a minor, we will immediately report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by U.S. law.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies globally in investigations related to child safety.
4. Enforcement and Bans
Users who violate our child safety policies face severe consequences.
- Permanent Bans: Violators are permanently banned from Opentalkme using advanced device fingerprinting and IP blocking techniques.
- Data Retention: Relevant connection data, device identifiers, and moderation snapshots are retained to enforce the ban and provide evidence to law enforcement if necessary.
5. Reporting Suspected Minors
If you encounter a user you suspect is under 18 while using Opentalkme, please use the in-app "Report" feature immediately. Select the appropriate category to flag the user for our moderation team. Your prompt reporting helps us maintain a safe, adult-only environment.
